My bluetooth is built in and the bluetooth headset is a Motorola HS850. My laptop is a Dell Inspirion 1520. I know how to put the headset into pairing mode, but I don’t know how to put the laptop in “search mode”. Please tell me how to put my Dell Inspirion 1520 running on Windows XP in Search Mode for my Bluetooth headset (Motorola HS850). Thanks!

there should be some kind of bluetooth program you can open and search for a device. If not you may have to download one but most manufactured pcs will come with the programs you need for the features. Check in your start menu/programs
